Charles Parsons ('91) died January 7, 1952, in Des Moines, Iowa, at the age of 86. He was a Congregational minister. Besides his duties as pastor, he became associated with the Iowa Society for the Friendless, and God blessed hundreds of former prisoners and their families through his faithful ministry in their behalf. Parsons was born in a suburb of London, England, and came to the United States as a child. He was graduated from Chicago Theological Seminary. He was survived by two daughters.
